Bullfights on Acid
Born from the ashes of prior musical collaborations between Andrew Christopoulos and Bryan Scheinkopf, Bullfights On Acid, Chicago's only Grunge/Funk/Rock/Jam/Pop Fusion quintet is preparing for their first record release. Their eponymous debut EP has it all: catchy hooks, stellar lyricism, infectious rhythms, nasty riffs, soaring guitar solos, in-your-face basslines, and tasteful psychedelicism.
Christopoulos [Keys/Lead Vocals] and Scheinkopf [Lead Guitar/Vocals] have been playing music together since 2006. The duo enrolled at Columbia College Chicago in 2013 and started playing music with Miles Eddy [Bass/Vocals] and Sean Burke [Rhythm Guitar]. They enlisted the rhythmic expertise of Eric Doar [Drums/Percussion], who had previously collaborated with the founding members, and Bullfights on Acid was born. Since their first show in February of 2014, Bullfights on Acid has played and headlined a number of highly regarded music venues in Chicago, including The Metro, The House of Blues, The Cubby Bear, Subterranean, The Bottom Lounge, Reggie's Rock Club and The Abbey Pub.
This Spooky Chunkadelic Groove Machine has continuously picked up steam over the past year, and is gearing up for its first record release. With a rabid fanbase growing in Chicago, the band is ready to share their music with the world.
